STARWRAP Level I Certification a Great Success!
Thank you for the professionals who attended our June STARWRAP
Trainer certification. We were happy to have some golf pro's, football
and track and field coaches, and Certified Personal Trainers who all
passed our class and are now practicing soft tissue active release with
their athletes and clients.
Already we've received great feedback from the SW Level I trainers including Lily who has had excellent results using our system on her own soft tissue issues, and now has clients learning just how much positive stimulus is enough to bring about a systemic change in the state of the tissue.
As I told Lily, I personally don't think you can apply STARWRAP too much. Increases in the amount of time under pressure affects an increase in blood flow to a specified area. By flooding the site with blood and thus increasing circulation, changes to the viscosity of the fascia from a gel like to a more fluid viscous state will naturally occur. This is called the cascade of healing and is what will shift the entire muscle length from origin to insertion and bring about the actin and myosin filaments sliding fluidly as the muscle becomes soft and supple.
So congratulations to our new Certified STARWRAP Level I practitioners. Go out there and help your clients achieve optimal tissue health.
