Jess, It's Jen Barol. Hey, just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate all the time you've taken to teach me so much. I'm using your tricks and tips throughout my days, at work, in the gym, at home...that goes for Jonathan too. Thanks to him I add spinach to EVErYThInG! I'm feeling great. And I owe it all to I Can Walk Again! Thanks, dear.

Milton D. Boutte Testimony
When I came to ICWA I had hip/leg and arm pains for the past 3 years. I hadn’t been able to sleep a full night for the past 3 years without waking up to terrible pain in my shoulder and hip. I had tried cortisone shots in the hip with a short period of partial success (days), and physical therapy. Once I came to ICWA and started a program with them, the pain was reduced with each session. Every day between ICWA visits I exercised as the ICWA trainers had taught me and I used the Starwrap belt on the sore spots every day. After 3 to 4 one hour secessions over a 4 week period at ICWA, I was able to sleep a full night without severe pain. After 6 weeks with the ICWA trainers the pain on the left side is almost gone. I highly recommend the Starwrap belt and the expert staff at ICWA in reducing chronic pain, toning muscles up, soft tissue therapy, performance nutrition, and corrective exercise.

ICWA's Maya and Tait go to SWTRI Training Camp in Tuscon
Thanks to Jaime Dispenza and SWTRI Coaching for a wonderful weekend in Tuscon, Arizona. I had the opportunity to speak to New Mexico Triathletes about the importance of tissue regeneration and how they can use STARWRAP to achieve optimal tissue health. This is a new paradigm on how people train their bodies. Rest and recovery is vital for returning back to intense training and to avoiding injuries. Talking with triathletes about training is a bit tricky. Most enjoy pushing their bodies and naturally have some repetitive use syndromes occurring due to the nature of the sport. Running, cycling, and swimming occurs in a linear plane of motion. This movement pattern can cause soft tissue issues in the areas of the body resourced by those sports.
I've been working with many triathletes who are experiencing pain in their IT Bands, achilles tendonitis, plantar fascitis, patellar tendonitis, rotator cuff, and generally have pain in their hips, shoulders, knees, and ankles. What I teach them is how to get their tissue back to a strong, soft, and supple state. Stretching and foam rolling are the normal routine for most. I recommend specific stretches that isolate overused musculature in the shoulders and hips using isometric exercises. A simple kung fu movement is to extend your arms out horizontally and twist your hands forwards and backwards. This rotates your humerus bone inside the shoulder joint. This will bring blood flow in and you should perform this until you feel the burn and fatigue. This will help your tissue relax some, but how do you stimulate your tissue to fully relax and become restored to a soft and supple state? This is where STARWRAP really works well. Each STAR Bullet with precise points of contact help target adhesions and trigger points and can apply the necessary focal compression to bind the tissue. As you activate your muscles, blood flow rushes to the area and the tissue unwinds. Your tissue needs more stimulus to relax then you are currently giving it. 15-20 minutes everyday can effectively break up the tightness and restore your muscles to a level of contractibility that you haven't experienced for a very long time. This is because we adapt to stress. Our bodies are amazing at this process called adaptive shortening and it doesn't take long to forget how good you can feel. The norm becomes tight, tense, and with some level of pain. This does not have to be the case. We here at ICWA and STARWRAP want to show you how to experience a renewed and rejuvenated you.
